From 20 – 22 January 2010 designers of ten new eco-orientated fashion and haute couture labels will present their latest collections on the occasion of the Berlin Fashion Show. lavera is supporting this innovative event as its main sponsor. For this reason all the models will be made up exclusively with decorative cosmetics from the lavera Trend sensitiv system. The lavera SHOWFLOOR BERLIN combines perfect fashion shows and ethical, top quality fashion without compromising the glamour aspect. The support provided by lavera is intended to give eco fashion labels the opportunity to present their collections at professional fashion shows at home and abroad.
Today, young, stylish fashion, sustainability and environmental awareness are no longer mutually exclusive – green is en vogue! The “green” labels will be presented by the brand “Green Avantgarde“. The designers participating attach particular importance to ecologically sound production conditions, to the observance of fair trade guidelines, environmentally acceptable cultivation of material and the support of local projects in the areas of cultivation. Light materials, classic and clear lines, fanciful designs and feminine cuts are the main characteristics of the new eco fashion. Trendy and fair! The highlight of the fashion shows which is also the final event of SHOWFLOOR BERLIN will be the presentation of NOIR, the label with cult status from Denmark.
In addition to "green“ labels haute couture labels will also play an important role at lavera SHOWFLOOR BERLIN. For the first time the capital's two leading haute couture designers, Nanna Kuckuck and Andrea Schelling, will present their latest creations in sumptuous shows on the occasion of the Berlin Fashion Week. Many celebrities are expected to be seen at the catwalk especially during the shows by Nanna Kuckuck, Andrea Schelling and NOIR. Udo Walz will be responsible for the hair styling of the models in the Nanna Kuckuck show. Sara Nuru, Germany's Next Top Model 2009, can be seen during the shows of NOIR and Nanna Kuckuck.
